About the Eastport Civic Association
The Eastport Civic Association (ECA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan community association that works to maintain a positive quality of life for local residents. Membership is open to homeowners and renters who live in Eastport.
Our membership area, made up of Ward 8 and part of Ward 6, includes the peninsula bordered by Spa Creek, Back Creek, and the Severn River and extends to neighborhoods from Tyler Avenue and Hilltop Lane to Primrose Road (see ECA map).
Associate membership is available to residents who live outside the designated area shown on the ECA map.
The mission of ECA is to:
- Promote, improve, and protect the general welfare of the Eastport area and its residents.
- Protect the residential and maritime quality of Eastport.
- Engage in activities that support and improve the civic life of the Eastport community; that is, our rights and responsibilities as citizens.
- Work with City and County officials on local issues of concern to Eastport residents.

ECA Officers and Board of Directors
The membership elects the Officers and Board of Directors and who oversee the activities and budget of the Eastport Civic Association.
Officers are elected for a one-year term. Board of Directors members serve a two-year term.
